ThePettingZoo was founded in early 2005 as an alternative to conventional
zoological gardens. One of the first and most successful of its kind, thePettingZoo.org
provides its visitors with a unique and memorable opportunity to interact
with animals from all across the natural world. The staff and founders of
thePettingZoo.org strive to make sure your visit to this state of the art
zoological park is an enjoyable experience that you will fondly carry with
you to your grave. The key to our success is providing our visitors with possibilities
and ensuring that each person’s experience at the zoo is unique. Want
a voyeuristic glimpse into the private life of a bearded owl? Visit our web

Perhaps our greatest success at thePettingZoo.org, is not the experience we offer our visitors, but rather what we accomplish for our animals. All of the animals on our site are treated humanely and with a minimum of human contact, to ensure that your experience with the animal is the closest possible to actually encountering him in the wild. The animal habitats are large and spacious, litter-free, and an are environments which are tailored to the needs of each animal.

The generosity of our members and thousands of visitors a year is what keeps these animals safe and eating.
